Kids Classes at the Guild and a Market Update!

Get your kids involved with art classes at the Peoria Art Guild! The summer Sessions are already started but the Fall Class Schedule will be available soon. And don't leave yourself out of the fun!!! Well, the summer season is in full swing and Jen is working hard to get all new products out each week of the market! Last week was particularly busy due to the air show preview at the riverfront. Grassroots was there friday night at the Preview Fest where the Market Association hosted a mini art fair. The night turned out to be beautiful...very humid, but warm and sunny!

Review of the Market Day 1... and a reminder for this weekend!

Well last weekend was the first weekend for the market and it went great! The bad weather held off for us until the last 15 minutes. We met lots of local vendors and scored a great booth location by a musician! All in all, it was a great weekend... Here are some highlights..

Peoria Riverfront Market Opens TOMORROW!

Just a friendly reminder that the Peoria Riverfront Market Opens tomorrow (Saturday) at 8am on the Peoria Riverfront!!!! Come check us out along with all of the other cool stuff featured down there!

Tie-dying..

Greetings on a rainy evening..

We've taken advantage of the nice weather from over the weekend and have spent some time tie-dying fabric for bags... and t-shirts for us to wear at the Peoria Riverfront Market this weekend..

Grassroots on the road!

Good afternoon!

We have been very busy getting ready for the Riverfront Market... but we always find time to help out in the community.

Recently, Jen spent some time at St. Thomas in Peoria school working with first and second grade students creating adorable Fishy Windsocks for Fine Arts Day.. The kids sprayed watered down paint on to large fish cut outs and attached streamers on the back to make them "swim" through the air... Very cute!
